For knitters ready to venture into two-color knitting! We will work on a cowl using two colors on a circular needle. Topics covered in the class will include yarn/color dominance, knitting with a color in each hand, corrugated ribbing, catching floats to reduce snagging, and reading charts.

When: Sundays, July 14 & 28 (two sessions)

Time: 1-3pm

Instructor: Kim Garnett

Cost: $45, plus materials to be purchased at the shop

Skill Level Pre-req: Students must be comfortable with knitting, purling, and working in the round. Some familiarity with reading charts is helpful but not required.

Skills Learned: How to knit stranded colorwork in the round

Pattern: Pattern will be provided at class

Materials: two colors of worsted weight yarn, approximately 200yds each. The purple and blue sample used one 50g skein of each color in Woolstok.

Notions: US#7 24" circular needle, or size to obtain gauge; stitch markers
