Make Your Own Pants!DownTown Knits
The Make Your Own Pants Class is the perfect follow up to the Beginner Sewing Class! Learn to cut a pattern and sew your very own pants using the Pants No. 1 pattern by 100 Acts of Sewing. This class meets one time. The Beginner Sewing Class is a prerequisite.

Fabric Yardage Requiremants:
XS - S: 2 1/2 yards (2.3 m); M - L: 2 1/2 yards (2.3 m); XL - 2X: 2 1/2 yards (2.3 m); 3X - 4X: 2 1/2 yards (2.3 m)
Fabric to be purchased at Downtown Knits. Students should come in ahead of time to purchase their fabric so that you can pre-wash your fabric. Or choose your fabric that day and allow for shrinkage when selecting your size.
Supplies: Coordinating thread, basic sewing kit and a sewing machine. A few sewing machines are available for a $5 fee, please call the shop to reserve one as numbers are limited. If you bring your own machine, please be sure your machine is in good mechanical condition and that you have the necessary parts, machine instruction manual, needles and bobbins, to use during class.
