Have you taken Beginner Knitting and aren't sure what to make next? It's hat season! This hat is a great jumping off point for working in the round, and quick enough for gifts. Available in three gauges and five sizes, the possibilities are (nearly) endless!

Saturdays, January 4 & 18 (2 sessions)
Saturdays, February 29 & March 14 (2 sessions)
Time: 1pm - 3pm

Cost: $45.00 + materials. Materials to be purchased at DTK
Skill Level Pre-req: Student must be able to knit and purl.
Skills Learned: Old Norwegian Cast-on, working in the round, 1x1 ribbing, decreases.
Pattern: Knitbot Simple Hat by Hannah Fettig. Please purchase the pattern before class, whether at shop or via your Ravelry account.
Yarn recommendation: One skein in DK, worsted, or bulky weight.
Needles: Needle size will depend on your yarn selection:
DK: US 3 16" circular & US 5 16" circular and a set of DPNs or 32" needle for magic loop method
Worsted: US 5 16" circular & US 7 16" circular and a set of DPNs or 32" needle for magic loop method
Bulky: US 9 16" circular & US 10 16" circular and a set of DPNs or 32" needle for magic loop method
Supplies: Stitch marker, tapestry needle. Some knitters may find it helpful to have extra stitch markers for the crown decreases.
